Jets Roster Cuts: Three 2012 Draft Picks Among The 22 Players Waived

The New York Jets announced their final seven cuts Friday night, adding to the 15 waivers made on Friday afternoon, to bring the roster to the league threshold 53-man squad. The 22 Friday cuts:

White and Ganaway were two of the final seven cuts, joining the previously released Robert T. Griffin to make three 2012 draft picks who were roster casualties on Friday. All three were drafted in the sixth round or later, but Ganaway was, of course, the only player to score a touchdown for the Jets in their four preseason games.

The Jets will open the regular season on September 9, hosting the Buffalo Bills.
