The Miami Dolphins have made the cuts required to reach a 53-man roster, parting ways with a number of players Friday night. Here is a complete list of the cuts, via the Sun-Sentinal's Omar Kelly.
Dolphins Roster Cuts Get Them Down To 53
The following players were waived:
- DT Isaako Aaitui
- CB Vince Agnew
- DT Ryan Baker
- OT Will Barker
- OG Chandler Burden
- LB Cameron Collins
- WR BJ Cunningham
- OG Ray Feinga
- WR Jeff Fuller
- WR Clyde Gates
- WR Chris Hogan
- CB Quinten Lawrence
- LB Shelly Lyons
- OT Andrew McDonald
- OT Lydon Murtha
- S Anderson Russell
- WR Roberto Wallace
- LB Jamaal Westerman.
In addition to those cuts, the Dolphins also terminated the contract of limebacker Gary Guyton, meaning the veteran does not have to go through the waiver wire. Rookie defensive end Jarrell Root was waived injured, and cornerback Kevyn Scott was waived with an injury settlement.
