Saints Vs. Patriots: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints will face off at Gillette Stadium on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The New England Patriots will make their preseason debut Thursday. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints enter the game with a preseason win already under their belt, having defeated the Arizona Cardinals, 17-10, this past weekend.

This matchup would promise plenty of fireworks and draw a lot of eyeballs if it were played during the regular season. As a preseason contest, it is subject to the standard caveats that preseason contests entail. Still, there is plenty to keep an eye on, including whether a maligned Pats secondary can hang with a deep Saints receiving corps. For Patriots fans, Thursday also represents an opportunity to once again see whether Ryan Mallett can perform should anything befall Tom Brady this season.
