As tweeted by Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal, the game picked up an 18 rating in the country’s major markets.
NBC said the Broncos’ victory over the Steelers last nite fetched an 18 rating in major markets, a record 4 the first SNF game of the year

The record-setting rating was also the best for any primetime NFL game since 1997.
