Week 2 NFL Odds: Browns Vs. Bengals
The Bengals are 7-1 in the last eight visits by the Browns, while 11 of the last 13 games the Browns have played in have gone under the total points spread.
While the Bengals have recently seen a resurgence spear-headed by Andy Dalton and A.J. Green providing new life to their offense, a 44-13 Week 1 drubbing at the hands of the Ravens has dampened the optimism some in Cincinnati.
Regardless, the Bengals opened as 7-point favorites to beat the Browns on Sunday after Cleveland lost their opener to the Eagles.
While the Browns kept the game against the Eagles very close, losing by just 1, rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden was terrible, completing less than 35 percent of his passes and throwing four interceptions. The interior offensive line of the Browns struggled to get much push and Trent Richardson was held to just 39 yards rushing on 19 attempts.
