NFL Picks Week 2: Vikings Vs. Colts

The Indianapolis Colts will host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in a game that a majority of national NFL experts expect the home team to win, though the opinion is not unanimous.

Among experts at Yahoo! Sports, CBS Sports and ESPN, only Yahoo!'s writers favor the visiting Vikings, while six of nine CBS experts and seven of nine ESPN predictors have picked the Colts. Rookie quarterback Andrew Luck will likely have an easier time managing the offense with the Lucas Oil Field crowd behind him after being thrust into a hostile environment at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears in Indy's Week 1 loss.

But the Colts will have to deal with Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who looked like the AP of old against the Jacksonville Jaguars, carrying the ball 17 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota's 26-23 win. If he's as healthy as he looked in Week 1, the Colts' suspect defense will have its hands full and could be in for a long day.

OddsShark.com has the game currently at even money.
