The Oakland Raiders placed Jacoby Ford and Ron Bartell on injured reserve Saturday. Ford, who is out with a Lisfranc football injury, will not be eligible to return in 2012.

Bartell is on reserve with a broken shoulder blade, but will be able to return to the Raiders later in the season when he recovers, according to Silver and Black Pride.

Ford is in his third year out of Clemson. After playing in all 16 games as rookie while catching 25 passes for 470 yards and two touchdowns, the 5’9, 190-pound wide receiver appeared in just eight games last season.

The eight-year veteran Bartell is in his first season as a Raider. He played his first seven seasons with the St. Louis Rams, amassing 314 tackles and eight interceptions.

Cornerback Coye Francies and long-snapper Nick Guess were called up from the Raiders' practice squad to replace Ford and Bartell on the roster.
