The Vikings will look to build momentum on an overtime win in Week 1, as Colts rookie signal-caller Andrew Luck tries to bounce back from a rough NFL debut.
Minnesota eked out a 26-23 overtime victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in their Week 1 matchup behind an impressive performance from running back Adrian Peterson (85 yards and two touchdowns). The Vikings are 1-point favorites over the Colts on Sunday. The line originally opened with Minnesota favored by 5 points, and OddsShark currently has the over/under set at 44.5.
The Colts were hammered, 41-21, in their season-opener against the Chicago Bears. Luck struggled in his NFL debut , throwing three interceptions and completing 23 of 45 passes for one touchdown in the loss.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium, and the game will be televised on FOX.
