Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker will miss the remainder of the 2012 season due to injury, according to teammate London Fletcher.
Adam Carriker Injury: Redskins Teammates Say He’s Out For Year
According to London Fletcher, Adam Carriker is done for the remainder of the 2012 season.
Carriker injured his right leg on the second play from scrimmage in Sunday’s 31-28 loss to the St. Louis Rams and spent the remainder of the game on crutches. Head coach Mike Shanahan has yet to officially announce what the situation is with Carriker but wasn’t optimistic following the game and stated that he anticipated he would need surgery. Shanahan will address the media at 3 p.m. on Monday.
Fletcher is under the impression his coach will be announcing the end of Carriker’s season at that time. Via WashingtonExaminer.com:
“He’s going to be done, I guess, for the rest of the year. We’ll miss him,” Redskins linebacker London Fletcher said.
