Adam Carriker’s Injury Is Season-Ending
Carriker was injured on the second play from scrimmage and watched the remainder of the game on crutches from the sideline. Carriker has played in every game with the Redskins since being signed by the team in 2010. Last season he recorded 34 total tackles, 19 solo, as well as 5.5 sacks. In 2010, he recorded 37 total tackles, 22 solo, with 1.5 sacks.

Head coach Mike Shanahan has yet to officially announce what the situation is with Carriker but wasn’t optimistic following the game and stated that he anticipated he would need surgery. Shanahan will address the media at 3 p.m. on Monday.
