The Eagles are 2-0 but it hasn't come easy through the first two weeks of the season. Philadelphia needed touchdowns in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter to edge out the AFC North's Browns and Ravens. The focal point of the Eagles start has been quarterback Michael Vick, who's thrown six interceptions through the first two weeks. Vick threw four picks in Cleveland to open the season, and had a fifth go right through Browns' linebacker L.J. Fort's hands in the end zone on Philly's final drive. Michael Vick and the Eagles are 2-0, but it hasn’t come easy for the quarterback, who has thrown six interceptions this season.
“Interceptions are bad but the thing is, I know why I throw my interceptions. It’s not like I’m throwing the ball blind to the left corner of the field - I did it once against Cleveland, I’ll be honest, because I’m a realist and I tell it like it is. But sometimes you just try so hard, it’s all in good faith. It’s all for the right reasons.”
Despite the four-interception day, the versatile quarterback converted when called upon, hitting Clay Harbor for the game-winning touchdown. Against Baltimore, he punched it in from one yard out to give Philly the lead with less than two minutes.
