Ravens safety Bernard Pollard says he's "ready to go" for Baltimore's Week 3 matchup against the Patriots. Pollard bruised his ribs in the Ravens' loss to the Eagles last Sunday while sacking Michael Vick. He went to the locker room in the second quarter and returned to the sidelines with his shoulder pads off. The veteran safety has 10 tackles, a sack, and an interception through the first two weeks of the season.
Bernard Pollard Injury: Ravens Safety Says He’s ‘Ready To Go’
The Ravens will want all hands on deck when they face Tom Brady and the Patriots' offense. Brady is all too familiar with Pollard, as the safety was the one who knocked the superstar quarterback out for the 2008 season with a knee injury in Week 1. Amazingly, Pollard was also the approaching tackler when Wes Welker tore his knee on the Houston turf and he was the defender who landed on tight end Rob Gronkowski's ankle in the AFC Championship last year.
