Despite a loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the oddsmakers are clearly still on the side of the Chicago Bears, who are favored by 10 points over the St. Louis Rams for their Week 3 matchup. St. Louis got a win over the Washington Redskins in Week 2, vindicating the solid performance they showed in Week 1 against the Lions.

That number has been incredibly varied around the NFL odds world, with some books putting the Bears as low as a seven-point favorite.

Jay Cutler will be facing a defense that isn't quite as sack-happy as the Green Bay defense that sacked him multiple times in Week 2, while the Sam Bradford-led Rams offense will want to repeat the success they showed against Washington, who they put 31 points on. With the two offenses expected to put up numbers, the odds show a relatively middling over/under of 44.5.

How well the Bears do may depend on the the defense, which managed to hold Aaron Rodgers in place even as they lost the game against Green Bay. Sam Bradford put up 310 yards and three touchdowns against the Redskins and they can't allow that kind of success to the opposing quarterback if they want to stay in the game.
