Sack-Fumble Becomes Huge Touchdown For Cardinals

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

Michael Vick never saw it coming. In the dying moments of the first half, all the Eagles needed to do inside the 10-yard line was try one last passing play, and if it failed take the easy three points on a chip shot. Instead, he dropped back, completely missed the blitzing defender and got absolutely crushed.

It got worse from there, far worse, as the sack-fumble became a 93-yard fumble return for a touchdown by James Sanders. At half the Eagles are down 24-0, and the Cardinals are rolling.
