NFL won’t fine T.J. Lang after he said: ‘Fine me’

The NFL will not fine Green Bay Packers offensive lineman T.J. Lang or any other member of the team who sent out profane or inflammatory tweets following Monday night's controversial conclusion against the Seattle Seahawks, according to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com.

Lang was one of the more vocal members of the team, even going as far to challenge the NFL to fine him so that they would be able to afford the salaries of the regular officials.

According to La Canfora, the league has stated that instead of pursuing disciplinary action against any of the players, they will instead focus on coming to a resolution with the members of the NFL Referees Association, which is currently locked out due to a labor dispute.

Wednesday morning Chris Mortensen of ESPN reported that the two sides are nearing a new deal that potentially could have the regular officials back by this weekend.
