Despite a 2-1 record, the Minnesota Vikings find themselves as six-point underdogs in Week 4, as they head to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions in an NFC North showdown.
Week 4 NFL odds: Vikings vs. Lions
Despite a superior record, the Minnesota Vikings are six-point underdogs heading into Sunday’s NFC North showdown against the Detroit Lions.

Christian Ponder and the Vikings are coming off of a Week 3 win over the San Francisco 49ers -- an upset win that few expected. Ponder's play is one of the main reasons for Minnesota's success this season, completing 70.1% of his passes for 713 yards. Ponder has thrown four touchdowns without throwing an interception.
The Lions are coming off a heartbreaking 44-41 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans. Lions starting quarterback Matthew Stafford was forced from the loss in the fourth quarter with a hip injury, but is expected to play on Sunday, as the Lions look to improve to 2-2.
The 1-2 Lions have disappointed some bettors this year, going 0-3 against the spread so far. The Vikings haven’t fared much better, going just 1-2 against the spread -- despite a 2-1 record.
