Week 4 NFL odds: Patriots vs. Bills

The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills have a monumental AFC East showdown on Sunday in western New York.

The New England Patriots will take a trip to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in Ralph Wilson Stadium as four point favories.

The Patriots are desperate for a win after dropping each of their last two contests against the Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens. For the first time since 2003 - the year of their second Super Bowl championship - New England is under .500.

Tom Brady has looked superb as usual, but the defense has had its share of struggles. So far, the defense ranks 24th in passing yards against, giving up an average of 262 yards per game to the likes of Jake Locker, Kevin Kolb and Joe Flacco.

The Bills started their campaign with a brutal loss to the New York Jets in which they gave up 48 points, but since have rectified the situation. Buffalo took care of business in Week 2, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 35-17 before dispatching the Cleveland Browns last weekend.

Fred Jackson is expected to be back for the contest, while C.J. Spiller will be out with a shoulder injury.
