SB Nation's NFL bloggers have voted on preseason awards for the 2012 NFL season, and Aaron Rodgers has run away with the vote for offensive MVP. The Green Bay Packers quarterback dominated the vote with over 60 percent of the vote for the MVP on offense, which shouldn't be a surprise at all. He's the odds-on favorite to win it this year and at 28 years old entering just his fifth season as a starter, Rodgers is still in his prime. Think about that. It's possible he'll get even better.

The second highest vote-getter was New England Patriots' Tom Brady, who had 13 percent of the vote. New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees was next in line with 8 percent of the vote and the following players all ended with 4 percent: Houston Texans' Arian Foster, Philadelphia Eagles' LeSean McCoy, Detroit Lions' Matthew Stafford, and Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning.

These results show which position SB Nation’s NFL bloggers think is important in this league. As SB Nation’s Bucs Nation writes:

Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL, and it isn’t close. Quarterback is the most important position on any team, so it only makes sense that a quarterback grabs the offensive MVP award - every single year.

Seven different players had a vote cast for them and only two of them were non-quarterbacks. Foster led the NFL in rushing two years ago; McCoy is one of the most all-round productive backs in the league.

The full results of SB Nation’s preseason offensive MVP vote:

Aaron Rodgers: 63 percent
Tom Brady: 13
Drew Brees: 8
Arian Foster: 4
LeSean McCoy: 4
Matthew Stafford: 4
Peyton Manning: 4
