Further investigation found that the victim had been dating Rainey for nine months.
This is not the first run-in with the law for Rainey, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor stalking while at the University of Florida for texting his girlfriend: “Time to Die Bitch.”
The Steelers drafted Rainey in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, he had 26 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 14 passes for 60 yards.
