It's almost noon in Seattle -- and perhaps halftime was enough to wake the Seahawks from their stupor. Russell Wilson marched his offense down the field for their first score of the day, a 29-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Golden Tate.
Seahawks vs. Falcons, score update: Seattle score out of the half, down, 20-7
Halftime was much-needed for the Seahawks, as they managed to score out of the break.

The first half was dominated by the Atlanta Falcons, as they decimated Seattle's defense, blowing open a huge 20-0 lead. As much as the Seahawks defense struggled, their offense had similar issues. Wilson chose the worst possible time to play like a rookie quarterback, displaying spotty accuracy, and poor clock management to close out the half, squandering an opportunity for a field goal.
As the Seahawks took the field in the second half, whatever head coach Pete Carroll said worked. A nine-play, 80-yard drive used a mix of the run and pass games to move the chains and cause Atlanta’s offense headaches.
