Danny Woodhead injury: Patriots RB headed to the locker room, return questionable
Danny Woodhead left the Divisional matchup against the Texans with a wrist injury suffered on the first play of the game. He is heading to the locker room.

The extent of Woodhead's injury is not known at this time. The Patriots are down to Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen and Brandon Bolden at running back.
Woodhead had 76 carries for 301 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season, adding 40 receptions for 446 yards and an additional three touchdowns. He’s never been a workhorse back, but the Patriots value his versatility.
The Texans currently lead the game 3-0 after a huge opening kickoff return from Danieal Manning brought them all the way down to the 12 yard line. They failed to capitalize, however, settling for a chip shot field goal.
WEEI’s Christopher Price is reporting Woodhead’s return is questionable.
