2013 NFC West schedule: Jeff Fisher, remember the Titans?

With their 2013 opponents already known, the teams in the NFC West have some marquee matchups ahead of them.

The NFC West is one of the best divisions in football, with full apologies to the Arizona Cardinals.

Despite this season not being finished just yet, the 2013 opponents for every team are already known, along with where the games are being played. The only thing unknown is which week each game will happen.

So, a little breakdown here. The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks finished in the top half of the division, meaning their home and road schedules match. The same goes for the St. Louis Rams and Cardinals, who finished third and fourth respectively.

Now, for the games that will have you calling in sick to work.

For the Rams, a few contests stand above the rest. Other than the obvious division games, one to keep an eye on is when the Tennessee Titans come to St. Louis. Jeff Fisher was of course Tennessee's coach for 17 years, leading them to one Super Bowl against…the Rams.

The 49ers have a bevy of great games on the schedule, starting with two against their on-the-rise foe, Seattle.

These two teams have a smashmouth style with coaches that know and don’t particularly like each other. On top of that, you get two young quarterbacks oozing potential, giving credence to the notion that this division is more than a one-way street.

San Francisco also has a marquee matchup against the Green Bay Packers, a rematch of the NFC Divisional playoffs. This one will also be in Candlestick Park, and certainly in primetime.

Seattle plays the Indianapolis Colts on the road, putting Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck against each other for the first time. The Seahawks also travel to see the Atlanta Falcons, another NFC Divisional rematch.

Arizona will travel to play the Philadelphia Eagles, something that could be of note if Kevin Kolb is under center. Kolb was originally an Eagles draft pick before being acquired by Arizona for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
