The Arizona Cardinals are reported to be hiring Todd Bowles of the Philadelphia Eagles, electing to part ways with defensive coordinator Ray Horton.
Cardinals coaching rumors: Todd Bowles to replace Ray Horton, according to report
A familiar face will come to Arizona to join new head coach Bruce Arians.

According to Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports, Ray Horton is the first casualty of head coach Bruce Arians arriving in Arizona. Following the hiring of Arians as head coach earlier Thursday night, there were rumors that Horton could be a on the outs, with a familiar face filling the role of defensive coordinator.
Both coached in Cleveland from 2001-03. Arians was the Browns' offensive coordinator, while Bowles was the team's defensive nickel coach. Bowles took over as the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive coordinator in the middle of the season following the firing on Juan Castillo. Under his guidance, the defense finished ninth in pass defense, though they struggled to rush the passer. Finishing with 30 sacks, the team was 25th in the NFL.
Horton will likely have plenty of suitors after his Cardinals defense finished with 38 team sacks, tied for 11th in the league.
