2013 Pro Bowl: Richie Incognito earns 1st appearance

The veteran guard will take the place of Baltimore’s Marshal Yanda.

Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito earned a spot in the Pro Bowl on Saturday, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. Incognito will replace the Baltimore Ravens' Marshal Yanda, who will miss the game due to the Ravens' upcoming Super Bowl appearance. Incognito, in his third season with the Dolphins and eighth season overall, confirmed the news via his twitter account on Sunday night.

Incognito played all 16 games for the Dolphins at left guard this season, and helped plow the way for a Dolphins rushing attack that gained over 112 yards per game. He earned a reputation for being a bit of a hot head early in his career, but Incognito was not flagged for a single personal foul this past season, and was only flagged six times in 16 games for the Dolphins.

The Pro Bowl will be held on Sunday and can be seen nationally on NBC.
