Appetizers seem to go hand-in-hand with football, so they’re a great place to start. Food.com has what appears to be a delicious appetizer -- bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers.

You will need jalapeno peppers, cream cheese and bacon for this recipe, and the directions are quite simple.

First, cut the peppers in half, and remove the seeds and veins from the jalapenos. Next, fill the jalapenos with cream cheese, and wrap a slice of bacon around each jalapeno. Then, secure the bacon around the jalapeno with a tooth pick, keeping everything in place. Lastly, bake the peppers at 425° for 15-20 minutes -- until the bacon appears to be cooked.

Viola! There you have it, food enthusiasts. Bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers.
