Super Bowl prop bets 2013: Ray Lewis and the man upstairs

Surely Ray Lewis will thank the good Lord for everything after the game is over, regardless of the outcome. How many times will he mention Him, though?

One of this years' more intriguing Super Bowl prop bets pertains to Ray Lewis and just how close he is to the man upstairs. Prop bets are part of the reason the Super Bowl is so enjoyable for so many. From who will score first, to how long with the National Anthem last, these bets can take any and every form.

From the listed 2013 Super Bowl specials, we have the following:

“If Ray Lewis is interviewed on TV after the game on the field or in the locker room how many times will he mention God/Lord?”

We know Ray to be a religious man. In fact, his relentless effort to credit his play to a higher power has drawn plenty of criticism at times.

Listen to Lewis talk about retirement here. He mentions God, sacrifice, things of that nature. Surely if he wins another Super Bowl, the Lord will be thanked. How many times, though?

The current over/under spread is listed at three mentions. Regardless of the outcome, Lewis is sure to look back on his lengthy career and be thankful for all that he’s accomplished. An interesting bet, the over looks like the way to go.
