Randy Moss wants to play in 2013, according to report

Randy Moss isn’t planning on hanging up his cleats after this season, regardless of the outcome in the Super Bowl. Expect to see him playing one final year when the 2013 season comes.

After coming out of retirement for what appeared like one last hurrah with the San Francisco 49ers, Randy Moss now looks like he's set on playing another season. The 35-year-old wide receiver plans on be out on the field in 2013.

Even if the 49ers take down the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Moss still wants to suit up for one more year. He finished the 2012 regular season with 28 receptions for 434 yards and three touchdowns, showing occasional flashes of brilliance when his number was called.

He wouldn't give a definite answer as to his plans for the future earlier this month, but now sources indicate he wants to stick around. Despite playing a limited role this year, Moss seems comfortable with where he's at. A trip to the Super Bowl likely makes that an easy ride.

Moss jumped around with three teams in the 2010 season, and then decided he would retire after drawing little interest the following offseason. He didn’t stay away from the game for long, though, coming back to play with San Francisco in 2012.

With 157 career touchdowns, Moss sits at No. 4 on the NFL’s all-time scoring list. Certain to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the future, we should be seeing Moss in action at the start of next season.
