Tight end Dennis Pitta and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe did not practice last Friday. Pitta was limited in his participation on Thursday, but was downgraded the following day as he continues to deal with a thigh injury.
Anquan Boldin, Asa Jackson, Vonta Leach, Ray Lewis, Albert McClellan, Pernell McPhee, Haloti Ngata, Bernard Pierce, Bernard Pollard, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs and Marshall Yanda all participated in full on Friday. Despite running through all of practice, each player is listed as questionable at this point.
The NFL season takes a toll on everyone, so it’s not unusual to see this many players with a few ailments here and there so late in the season. Barring any major setbacks, we should expect to see all of these names out on the field when Feb. 3 arrives.
Pitta has yet to miss a game this year. He was added to the injury report after the AFC Championship. We’ll see what he can do in practice in the coming days to determine if he’ll be able to suit up for Sunday.
