Super Bowl Sunday means two things: ridiculous commercials throughout the game and awesome food at whatever party you choose to attend. Sure, there’s some football thrown into the mix somewhere, but we really just care about stuffing our faces.

Your run-of-the-mill spread will consist of chips, dips, wings, etc. You see the same stuff every year. Why not go out on a bit of a limb for once?
If you’re looking for a new recipe to try, check out the Touchdown Brat Sliders from TasteofHome.com. Read the rundown of what all goes into these minis and tell me your mouth isn’t watering. Here’s what you’ll need.
- 5 thick-sliced bacon strips, chopped
- 1 pound uncooked bratwurst links, casings removed
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup dark beer or nonalcoholic beer
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 16 dinner rolls, split and toasted
- 2 cups cheddar and sour cream potato chips, crushed
You cook the meat, stir in the flavoring, and eventually crumble chips on top of the entire combination. What’s not to like? It requires a little more work than stopping by the store and picking up a pizza, but you’ll be glad you took the time to carefully construct such a flavorful creation.
