Larry Fitzgerald extended his own Pro Bowl record on Sunday during the NFC's 62-35 romping of the AFC in football's all-star game. Fitzgerald finished the game with six catches for 59 yards and a touchdown -- Fitzgerald's eighth career Pro Bowl touchdown, in seven career Pro Bowls.
Pro Bowl 2013: Larry Fitzgerald extends record with 8th touchdown reception
Larry Fitzgerald caught his eighth career Pro Bowl touchdown reception on Sunday, adding to his own record.

Fitzgerald's touchdown catch came from Russell Wilson, on a 4th-and-4 in the third quarter. Fitzgerald's touchdown gave the NFC a commanding 45-21 lead, and essentially put the game away from the AFC's Pro Bowl squad.

Though he had a relatively poor year by his own standards, Fitzgerald was named to the Pro Bowl roster on Tuesday, replacing Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who missed the game because of a hip injury. Fitzgerald finished the 2012 season with just 71 receptions for 798 yards -- his lowest yardage total since his rookie season. Fitzgerald only caught four touchdown passes, constituting a career-low.
Arizona's struggles this season, including Fitzgerald's, directly correlate to the team's quarterback problem. Arizona started a Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley and even Brian Hoyer at quarterback this season, while boasting the No. 28 passing offense in the NFL.
Still, Fitzgerald was named to the Pro Bowl roster as an alternate, where he once again shined. In addition to this season, Fitzgerald was named to the Pro Bowl roster in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
