After spending two seasons with the Dolphins, Reggie Bush's Miami career appears to be over as the Dolphins are "highly unlikely" to re-sign Bush, according to a report from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

The fact that the Dolphins appear ready to move on without Bush shouldn't come as a major surprise as Miami never approached Bush or conveyed any interest in re-signing him during the final two months of the regular season, according to report from the Miami Herald. The Dolphins did approach impending free agents Brian Hartline, Jake Long and Randy Starks, possibly indicating where Bush stands on Miami's list of free agent priorities.
Miami, according to the reports, has not ruled out the possibility of bringing Bush back next season, but it would likely only be at a very team-friendly price and Bush is expected to draw plenty of interest in free agency. Bush earned $4.5 million this past season and could be a fit with teams looking for help in the backfield like the Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals. In his two seasons in Miami, Bush ran for 2,072 yards while averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
If Bush does indeed depart via free agency, the Dolphins are expected to turn to second-year running back Lamar Miller. Miller, who Miami selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, had some success in a limited role last season. He ran for just 250 yards on the season, but averaged a team-high 4.9 yards per carry. Miami also has Daniel Thomas in its backfield.
