NFL Playoff odds 2013: Bengals vs. Texans

Due to recent struggles, the Houston Texans are just 4.5-point home favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals for Saturday’s Wild Card game.

John Grieshop

The Houston Texans find themselves favored to win for the fourth consecutive game, this time as 4.5-point home favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals, who will be competing against Houston on Saturday as part of NFL's Wild Card weekend.

The Texans have gone in the tank recently, losing two straight games and three of the past four. After starting the season at 11-1, the Texans finished the season at 12-4. That wasn’t all Houston lost, though, going from the No. 1 seed to No. 3 after their recent rough patch.

Meanwhile, the Bengals have been hot entering the playoffs, winning three straight and dropping just one of their past eight games after an iffy start.

The over/under currently stands at 43 combined points between the two teams, via OddsShark. The under has hit in three straight Texans games and has also hit in the past two Bengals games. Both teams have great No. 1 wide receivers, but the quarterback play isn’t as strong.
