The Green Bay Packers' all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards has announced he will retire. Donald Driver, who holds both of those records over Packers legends like Sterling Sharpe, James Lofton and Don Hutson, is calling it quits after an illustrious 14-year career in Green Bay.

Driver, 37, will formally retire on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Lambeau Field Atrium in an event open to fans.
“I can think of no better way to retire than to celebrate with them (the fans) and the Packers organization,” said Driver, who played his entire career with the Packers.
Driver ends his career with 743 receptions, 10,137 yards, and 61 touchdowns. In addition to leading the franchise in receptions and receiving yardage, Driver also has the most 1,000-yard seasons of any Packer with seven and the team record for most consecutive games with a reception with 133.
A seventh-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft, Driver saw little action in his first three seasons, but burst onto the scene in 2002, starting all 16 games and making his first of three Pro Bowls. Driver remained an important part of the Packers offense through their Super Bowl XLV victory while etching his name in the Packers' record books.
