New York Giants tight end Martellus Bennett has some news that might shock 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver. On Thursday morning, a day after Culiver's remarks about not wanting to play alongside a gay teammate, Bennett took to Twitter to reveal that Culliver and every other player probably already has.

Earlier this week, before Culliver's remarks landed in the media, 49ers tight end Delanie Walker told USA Today that a teammate's sexuality would not bother him. Walker said:

”It probably wouldn’t affect me, but other guys might feel different.

“That’s him. If that’s what he’s into, that’s what he’s into. I can’t judge a person for how he feels. Things happen. He was a great player. I don’t see him no differently.”

Walker's remarks came in response to his former teammate offensive tackle Kwame Harris' arrest for an altercation with his boyfriend.

Harris also responded to Culliver’s remarks on Wednesday, expressing shock that Culliver would “spread vitriol and hate” and pointing out that Culliver “may come to regret” his words.

Culliver issued a statement Wednesday night apologizing for his remarks. He will also spend his Thursday morning backpedaling from his remarks at a press conference in New Orleans.
