Bears coaching rumors: Chicago to interview Texans OC Rick Dennison, per report
The Chicago Bears will interview Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison for their head coaching vacancy.

Dennison entered the NFL coaching ranks in 1995 as an offensive assistant for the Denver Broncos, after playing for the team from 1982 to 1990. After two seasons as an assistant, Dennison was promoted to special teams coach in 1997, then to offensive line coach in 2001. He was finally promoted to the offensive coordinator position in 2006 and held the position for three seasons.
In 2010, he was hired as the offensive coordinator of the Houston Texans. Dennison coached the Texans offense to a top-ten finish in total points scored in each of his three seasons. If Dennison is indeed hired by the Bears, he would be reunited with quarterback Jay Cutler and wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who he coached while in Denver.
On Saturday, Dennison and the Texans advanced to the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals, 19-13.
