After failing to lure Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly away from college football, the Cleveland Browns have turned their attention to Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman. According to ESPN Cleveland, the Browns are set to interview Trestman in Chicago on Monday, as Cleveland continues its search for its next head coach.

The Cleveland Browns are set to interview Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman on Monday.

Trestman has served as Montreal’s head coach since the 2008 season, and has led the Alouettes to a 64-34 record, and has captured two Grey Cup titles (2009, 2010).
Prior to coaching in the Canadian Football League, Trestman held a number of various positions throughout the NFL and college football. Trestman originally served as the University of Miami’s quarterback coach between 1981-84, and coached Bernie Kosar while at Miami. Trestman and Kosar were reunited in 1988 and 1989, when Trestman served as Cleveland’s quarterback coach and eventually offensive coordinator.
Cleveland isn't the only team interested in Trestman's services. Montreal's head coach is set also set to interview with the Chicago Bears on Monday -- which is why Cleveland's brass is traveling to Chicago to interview Trestman.
