Seattle defensive end Chris Clemons tore his ACL and meniscus against the Redskins, according to reports.

Clemons suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Seattle's victory against the Redskins. Following the game, there were reports that the Seahawks feared Clemons may have torn his ACL, and a MRI on Monday confirmed those fears to be true. According to the report from Rapoport, Clemons will meet with renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews on Monday.
The loss of Clemons is a big blow for the Seahawks as they move on in the playoffs and prepare to face the Atlanta Falcons. Clemons led the Seahawks with 11-1/2 sacks during the regular season. Without him, first round pick Bruce Irvin will likely play a much bigger role for Seattle. Irvin finished the regular season with 8.0 sacks, but was mostly utilized as a situational pass rusher.
