Bears coaching search: Mike Singletary will interview with Chicago
Former Chicago linebacker Mike Singletary will interview for the Bears’ head coaching vacancy.

Singletary spent all 12 seasons of his playing career with the Bears. He spent two and a half seasons as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, compiling an 18-22 record. He was fired after 15 games in 2010 and has worked as the Vikings' linebacker coach during the last two seasons. During his time in San Francisco, Singletary gained more notoriety for his postgame speeches -- including one in which he dropped his pants in front of the team -- than the 49ers' on-field performance.
Priefer will also interview with Chicago general manager Phil Emery. Priefer has spent his entire 12-year NFL coaching career as a special teams coach including the last two with the Vikings. During his career, Priefer’s units have accounted for 15 scores.
