NFL playoffs 2013: Divisional round predictions
The NFL prediction computer was perfect on Wild Card weekend, but far from perfect against the spread. The Odds Shark computer says underdogs will beat the divisional playoff odds in all four games this week.

But making NFL predictions can put you in the same situation and that’s where the Odds Shark computer found itself after Wild Card weekend.
It successfully predicted that all four favorites would win, good for a 4-0 mark. But it also predicted that three of the underdogs would cover the spread, which was good for just a 1-3 ATS mark.
So heading for the divisional playoff weekend, the computer fired up again and came back with almost identical picks. Except this time, it is picking underdogs to cover the spread in all four games.
Denver will win 36-27, which would cover at the present -8.5 point spread, but not at the opening number of -9.5. The Broncos have dominated at home and as a favorite.
Seattle will win 32-29 at Atlanta as a 2.5-point underdog. A week ago, the Seahawks beat Washington as road favorites. Bet against Seattle as an underdog at your peril. The last 19 games where they were underdogs, they covered at a 15-3-1 ATS clip!
New England will win a high-scoring battle at Foxboro, besting Houston 40-31. This is another borderline bet where you will win or lose depending on the spread you get. At the opening number of -9.5, you would lose by betting on the Pats. If the line moves down to -8.5, this final score would be a New England cover.
