The Dallas Cowboys fired defensive coordinator Rob Ryan on Tuesday evening, sending some shockwaves throughout the NFL world.
Rob Ryan fired: Cowboys players ask ‘WTF’
Jason Garrett maybe kept his job, but his defensive coordinator surprisingly got the axe.

Ryan, the brother of Rex and son of longtime head coach Buddy Ryan, was relieved of his duties in Dallas just two years after being brought in after his stint in the same position with the Cleveland Browns.
Some players were vocally upset with the organization's decision, including Jason Hatcher and most emphatically, Bruce Carter via twitter.
Hatcher went the classy route, while Carter, well, read for yourself.
Last week, Jerry Jones promised some big changes for the Cowboys, saying there would be some uncomfortable people in the facility going forward.
Ryan apparently was one of the people Jones saw as a need-to-change type, despite leading what most saw as an improving defense even with a bevy of injuries to key players.
Although it should be said that last year, Dallas finished 19th in total defense compared to 14th in 2011.
