Seahawks vs. Falcons, injury report: Marshawn Lynch misses practice

Marshawn Lynch missed practice for the Seahawks on Wednesday, while William Moore and John Abraham were limited for the Falcons.

The Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks took to the practice field for the first time this week, but both teams had key starters limited by injury on Wednesday.

The Falcons were without two players, as safety Charles Mitchell and cornerback Chris Owens missed practice. Owens remained hampered by a hamstring injury which caused him to miss the regular-season finale. Mitchell sat out with a calf injury which occurred during the bye week.

Two defensive starters were limited for Atlanta on Wednesday, as John Abraham and William Moore both practiced on a limited basis. Moore is still dealing with a hamstring injury which forced him to miss the final four games of the regular season, while Abraham is nursing an ankle injury he suffered in Week 17.

Seattle was without three players on Wednesday, including running back Marshawn Lynch. Lynch missed practice due to a foot injury. Lynch has been limited in practice due to a back injury in recent weeks, but this is the first time the injured foot has caused him to miss practice. The Seahawks were also without defensive backs Byron Maxwell and Jeron Johnson, both of which sat out due to hamstring injuries. Maxwell and Johnson are key special teams contributors and also play in sub packages on defense.
