NFL power rankings 2013, Week 5: Broncos are consensus best team to the media

The different sports media outlets don’t agree on much, but they all think that the Denver Broncos are the best team in the NFL followed by the Seattle Seahawks.

There's plenty of debate among the media about who belongs where, but there's a clear consensus at the top of the NFL power rankings after four weeks: The Denver Broncos are the best team in the NFL and the Seattle Seahawks are the second best.

While three other undefeated teams remain after a quarter of the season, the class of the field has clearly been the Broncos who have dominated each of their opponents thus far. In fact, they scored as many points in the second half of their Week 4 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles as the Jacksonville Jaguars have accumulated this season.

The story of the rankings though, may belong to the Cleveland Browns. Two weeks removed from being in the discussion for the No. 32 spot in the power rankings after back-to-back losses and the trade of Trent Richardson, the Browns are now in the top 20 and received a ranking as high as No. 13.
