The Bengals haven't been very good on the road this season, but that didn't stop oddsmakers from installing them as a heavy favorite against the Bills. Cincinnati was favored by three points in the opening line and some oddsmakers now have the Bengals favored by 8.5 points, according to OddsShark.
Bengals vs. Bills 2013 odds: Cincinnati favored on the road
Coming off an impressive win against New England, the Bengals are a heavy favorite against Buffalo.

Cincinnati's performance against New England is part of the reason it is favored, but Buffalo's issues at quarterback are also a major reason. E.J. Manuel is out for the Bills and Buffalo will instead turn to Thad Lewis, who the Bills promoted from the practice squad on Monday. Lewis has appeared in one NFL regular-season game during his career and will now go against a very good Bengals defense.
Oddsmakers aren’t expecting a lot of points which the total set at 42. Neither team has been great offensively, combining to average 41.2 points per game. Without Manuel, Buffalo’s offense may have a hard time reaching its 22.4 points per game average, possibly making the under a solid bet.
The Bills have dominated this matchup recently, winning eight of the nine meetings since 1996. Buffalo is 7-2 against the spread in those games. Both teams have fared well against the spread this season. Buffalo is 3-2 while Cincinnati is 3-1-1.
