Despite their slide in the standings as of late, the Houston Texans are favored by more than a touchdown at home against the St. Louis Rams in Week 6. The Texans are 8.5-point favorites in the inter-conference matchup against the Rams, according to OddsShark.
NFL odds and lines, Week 6: Rams vs. Texans 2013
The Texans are favored by more than a score against the Rams at home.

The Rams are coming off a win against the lowly Jaguars in Week 5. The blowout victory at home against Jacksonville featured plenty of offense from quarterback Sam Bradford and new starting running back Zac Stacy. For St. Louis to pull off the upset, the Rams will have to involve first-round pick Tavon Austin involved in the offense. On defense, the Rams really need to improve and keep Andre Johnson and Arian Foster in check.
Houston is greatly in need of a strong win at home. Quarterback Matt Schaub has been embarrassed over the last four games with four consecutive interceptions for touchdowns. He will need to rebound with the use of Johnson and rookie DeAndre Hopkins in order turn the Texans' losing streak around. On defense, the Texans will have to pressure on Bradford and force him into turning the ball over.
The Texans will host the Rams at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. The game will be televised on FOX.
