Titans vs. Seahawks: Tennessee takes lead on bizarre fumble recovery

Tennessee doesn’t have its starting quarterback, but random plays like this have allowed a halftime lead.

The Tennessee Titans find themselves in an unlikely place -- leading the Seattle Seahawks with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. Tennessee's touchdown didn't come from the quarterback, however, as one of the stranger plays of the week occurred on a botched snap.

On a failed field goal attempt, Seahawks safety Chris Maragos recovered the snap before being stripped as Jason McCourty recovered the ball and ran it back 77 yards for the touchdown. It appears Maragos wanted to try and throw the football, which caused the lack of ball security that resulted in the TD.

Russell Wilson is throwing the ball extremely well, while Fitzpatrick has thrown an interception -- everything in this game indicates that Seattle should be out to a big lead, but that hasn't happened. The Titans lead 10-7 at halftime.
