The quarterback carousel for the Buffalo Bills took another turn on Monday, as the team is expected to add veteran passer Matt Flynn to the mix, aaccording to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Buffalo Bills are expected to add Matt Flynn as insurance at the quarterback position after an injury for Thaddeus Lewis.

Flynn, 28, was brought in by the Bills after an injury to quarterback Thaddeus Lewis as "due diligence," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, but a strong workout reportedly sold the team on the former Raiders quarterback. With Lewis listed as "day to day" with a foot sprain, Flynn will compete with Jeff Tuel to be the team's Plan B in the event that Lewis cannot play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7.
The injury for Lewis is just the latest of a series of injuries at the quarterback position for the Bills, beginning with a preseason concussion for Kevin Kolb. After a knee injury for rookie E.J. Manuel forced Lewis into the lineup, the Bills are again scrambling to find an alternative due to injury.
Flynn has completed 109-of-175 passes in his career for 1,329 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. In his only start in 2013 with the Raiders, he completed 21-of-32 passes for 227 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
