Sunday's win was a Pyrrhic victory for the Green Bay Packers as the team managed to squeak out a close win over the Baltimore Ravens, but at a huge cost. Wide receivers Randall Cobb and James Jones both left Sunday's game, while Nick Perry was also lost.

The talk from Sunday was Matt Elam’s hit, as the rookie safety went low on Cobb and fractured his fibula. Acme Packing Company reacted to the injury as Evan Western believes he could be placed on injured reserve with a designation he can return.
It seems likely that with this news, Cobb would be an ideal candidate for the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return classification, as those players must sit for eight weeks before being reactivated. The good news, of course, is that there’s still a good chance that Cobb could come back yet this season...but the bad news is that if he’s put on IR/DTR, that would keep him out until preparations for week 15.
Over at Baltimore Beatdown the Ravens were discussing the hit too, as John Harbaugh defended the hit. According to Jason Butt the Ravens' DB made a legal play, despite the result.
Elam, instructed not to target defenseless receivers high, reacted to the play and tackled the receiver low. It should be noted that it was a legal play. However, Rodgers took exception to it and insinuated that Elam should take a different approach to tackling.
