AFC North injuries, Week 6: Levi Brown suffers another triceps injury

The Steelers lost Levi Brown even before he took a live snap.

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

The Steelers acquired Levi Brown to help solidify their offensive line and he was expected to start at left tackle on Sunday. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, Brown suffered a potentially serious triceps injury during warmups and was forced out of the lineup.

That and more injuries from around the AFC North.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens lost to the Packers. But unlike Green Bay, they didn't have any major injury setbacks in the game. Haloti Ngata left the game with a sprained elbow but returned shortly after. Jacoby Jones appeared to injure his leg, but did not miss time. Brandon Stokley didn't play on Sunday and John Harbaugh said he was less than 100 percent due to a thigh injury. He could return to action this week.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati went on the road and picked up a win against the Bills and managed to stay healthy while doing so. Wallace Gilberry briefly left the game with a forearm injury, but returned and recorded a sack. The Bengals had some injury issues heading into the game, but both Leon Hall and Michael Johnson were able to play against the Bills and avoided any setbacks.

Cleveland Browns

After getting hit hard by injuries earlier in the season, the Browns avoided serious injury against Detroit and are starting to get healthy. Jabaal Sheard was inactive for a third straight game, although he's close to making his return. Quentin Groves returned on Sunday after missing three weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh picked up its first win of the season, but injuries continue to hit hard. Brown suffered a triceps injury during pregame warmups and did not play. Brown injured the same triceps that caused him to miss the entire 2012 season. Tight end David Johnson left the game with a dislocated wrist while Brett Keisel suffered a rib injury which is believed to be minor. Le'Veon Bell briefly left the game with an apparent foot injury, but returned.
