NFL injuries, Week 6: Danny Amendola headlines the AFC East injuries
Danny Amendola suffered another injury on Sunday and his status remains unknown heading into this week’s game against the Jets.

Here’s a complete look at the latest AFC East injuries.
The Bills have had more than their share of quarterback injuries this season and they continued on Sunday. With E.J. Manuel out, Thaddeus Lewis started, but suffered a foot sprain. The injury is reportedly minor and Lewis did not suffer ligament damage. He will likely start again this week. Head coach Doug Marrone said Manuel is ahead of schedule in his return from a knee injury. Rookie Jonathan Meeks suffered an ankle injury against Cincinnati and was placed on injured reserve with the designation to return.
Miami used its bye week to get healthy and it appears they were able to do so. Defensive end Cameron Wake practiced with the first team on Monday while Dimitri Patterson also returned to practice. Patterson has not played since Week 1. Not all of the injured Dolphins returned on Monday as Dannell Ellerbe missed practice.
New England pulled out a dramatic win against New Orleans, but lost a few players in the process. Talib, Dan Connolly, Jerod Mayo and Amendola all left the game. Mayo suffered a shoulder injury and left the stadium with his arm in a sling according to Tom Curran. Amendola and Connolly both left the game with head injuries. Both players could be forced to pass concussion tests before being cleared to return. Talib suffered a hip flexor, but the injury isn't believed to be serious.
The Jets lost a few players during Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, but only one of the injuries appears to be serious. Mike Goodson tweeted he tore his ACL and MCL and will likely miss the rest of the season. Bilal Powell, Clyde Gates and Wilson also left the game. Gates suffered a shoulder injury but expects to play this week. Powell said he was "fine" after the game. Wilson suffered a head injury and the Jets said they will have an update on his status on Wednesday. Looking forward, Santonio Holmes is unlikely to return this week while Dee Milliner could return after missing three games.
