Things got worse for the Houston Texans in Week 6, as they dropped a fourth consecutive game and lost starting safety Danieal Manning for an extended period of time. The veteran safety is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with what is being called a "significant knee injury" after he hyperextended his right knee in a 38-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

The Week 6 injuries for the AFC South included dings for Matt Schaub and Cecl Shorts III, as well as a “significant” injury for Danieal Manning.

Possibly joining Manning on the sideline in Week 7 is quarterback Matt Schaub, who was forced to leave the team's loss after he was rolled up on by Chris Long. While the Texans haven't provided specifics, the lower leg injury could keep him out and force the team to start T.J. Yates or Case Keenum instead.
The Jacksonville Jaguars also watched things go from bad to worse, as wide receiver Cecil Shorts III left early in the team's 35-19 loss to the Denver Broncos with a shoulder injury. On Tuesday morning, the Jaguars announced that Shorts suffered a strained SC joint in his shoulder, but haven't yet ruled him out for the team's Week 7 game against the San Diego Chargers.
Tennessee Titans linebacker Moise Fokou also has a somewhat optimistic prognosis after leaving Sunday with a knee injury. The linebacker was replaced in the game by Colin McCarthy, but might be available to return soon, as the Titans are hopeful that he only suffered a knee sprain against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Indianapolis Colts managed to stay relatively injury-free in their Monday Night Football loss with the exception being linebacker Jerrell Freeman, who left with a head injury. Freeman was diagnosed with a concussion after leaving in the second half and was replaced by Mario Harvey. It's not yet been revealed if the concussion will keep him out for the team's Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos.
